We're looking for a Director of Administration to build and lead that foundation.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for the administrative infrastructure that keeps our firm operating at a high level every day. You'll oversee our offices, employee experience, facilities, recruiting and onboarding, technology coordination, vendors, administrative systems, and workplace operations while supporting both our U.S.-based team and our distributed global workforce.
This is not an office manager position. This is not an HR generalist position.

What You'll Do
- Lead the firm's employee experience from recruitment through onboarding, ongoing support, and offboarding.
- Manage recruiting logistics and hiring administration in partnership with department managers.
- Oversee the administrative operations of our distributed global workforce, including recruiting, onboarding, technology coordination, communication, and support.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees regarding workplace questions, handbook interpretation, policies, and administrative matters.
- Support managers with employee relations, documentation, and workplace issues. Oversee the Phoenix and Tucson offices, including landlords, facilities, vendors, maintenance, and office improvements.
- Manage office equipment, technology coordination, firm assets, and purchasing.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, subscriptions, and renewals.
- Directly supervise two Front Office Assistants.
- Provide executive updates on significant administrative matters and help maintain business continuity when executive leadership is unavailable.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years of leadership experience in administration, operations, HR, professional services, or law firm management. Experience hiring, onboarding, coaching, and supporting employees.
- Experience in a non-corporate environment 50 -100 employees in size.
- Experience managing facilities, vendors, office operations, and administrative systems. Strong employee relations and communication skills. Experience supporting both in-office and remote teams.
- Experience with distributed global teams is strongly preferred. Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience.
Performance-based bonus opportunity tied to overcall company performance.

Occasional same day travel to the Tucson office as business needs require.

Zanes Law Injury Lawyers LLC
Doug Zanes founded Zanes Law in 2003. Our firm’s first office was located in Tucson, Arizona, with Doug as the only attorney. His wife Claudia, who is a business executive, helped run the business operations within the law firm. During this time, we were able to count our entire staff on one hand.
By 2008, we had added two lawyers and employed a team of 15 staff members. It was at this time that we began to focus our practice on personal injury cases. We realized that helping accident victims was far more personally fulfilling than the area of law we had been practicing.
By 2017, the firm grew to include 10 lawyers spread across three law offices. There were two offices in Tucson, Arizona, and a third office in Phoenix, Arizona. Today, we continue to serve personal injury victims living and/or working in and around Tucson, Phoenix, Nogales, Sierra Vista, Douglas, Yuma, Flagstaff, and Northern Arizona. We also serve Glendale, Casa Grande, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe and the entire Phoenix Metro area.
In the past 20 years, Zanes Law Injury Lawyers has recovered almost 1 Billion Dollars for our clients.
